VIUN (2015)

A study into the fundamentals of dynamics. VIUN is a choreographic depiction of the internal struggle of the self; the introspective, back and forth reflection that is within every human in trying to better understand themselves. This internal dynamic is explored and symbolized with the use of an inanimate object: a white cube. Using this visual portrayal of a physical relationship (dancer-cube), the viewer is welcomed into the intimate struggle of the individual’s self found within one’s mind.

VIUN is an interactive choreographic work, created in collaboration with installation designers Omar AL FALEH and Nikolaos Chandolias.

Presented at Festival Quartier Danses and developed during residencies at TML, Topological Media Lab at Concordia and Nous Sommes Lete.
